This is WilldFlower Honey was harvested with care by our club members from our Alva, Florida Apiary. It was uncapped (using handheld uncapping knife), hand-crank extracted on site (or at our meeting location) where it was collected in 5-gallon pails directly from extractor's discharge valve at ambient (honey-house room temperature).
No pumping or motors... just letting gravity do the work.
Buckets of honey were subsequently gravity-strained (not filtered) at room temperature using a coarse (600-micron) polyester strainer to allow pollen (small particles of propolis & wax) to pass and be included in the honey.
Honey containers were slowly filled (and safety-sealed) at room temperature (no heating to make it flow faster)..
No additives... just pure, natural, raw (unheated), coarse strained (unfiltered) honey which is Local to Lee County... specifically Alva area. It is a beautiful medium/light color and sweet Thanks in advance for your purchase and support of our beekeeping association.
